My Mask
may drag you into the depth of your trust
but what will you do,
when my mask turns to dust...
and all that's left is us?

Strangerous
So shut the book, give it a rest
I've given you enough time to study me,
Here's a pen and paper, write the test
I've given you all this time to love me,
Not to change me
Rearrange me
Become strange to me.
Not to leave me
But believe me
And see me,
For what I am.

Somewhere, Right Now
Somewhere right now, someone out there feels exactly like you do.
Someone is thinking that things could be better and wondering if they’ll ever arrive. Someone is remembering how things were before and wondering if they’ll ever let go. Someone is missing someone they love and wondering why they had to know loss. Someone is radiating with hope and joy and wondering if it will last.
Somewhere right now, someone is struggling in the same way as you.
Someone is out of work and cash and wondering what might be next. Someone is waiting for an important call and wondering if it’s best not to know. Someone is walking away from no good and wondering if they can go on. Someone is walking toward something new and wondering if they should turn back.
Somewhere right now, someone is transforming in much the same way as you.
Someone is stretching into a new role and wondering if it feels right. Someone is reaching for a new goal and wondering who they can become. Someone is trying their hardest to create change and wondering if they’re making strides. Someone is getting ready to take a leap and wondering if they’ll feel more alive.
Despite all our differences, we all deal with the same things, in different times and different ways. We’re striving and struggling, learning and growing, and sometimes it can feel like we should be somewhere else–smarter, wiser, further along, or closer to having an answer. But right now in the middle, in the messiness and uncertainty, this is where we all live. No one has it all figured out—and maybe that’s the point. When we’re finished, we’re finished. Is that really a choice we’d make? Somewhere right now someone is deciding it’s okay to be right where they are.
Take a deep breath, look around, and let that person be you.

May the stars carry your sadness away,
May the flowers fill your heart with beauty,
May hope forever wipe away your tears,
And, above all, may silence make you strong.

Some Monday Words
Happiness and pain are both places. Enough time spent in pain, will give you the power, patience and appreciation to travel to your place of happiness. It is important to remember your soul is a moving energy, it should never feel compelled to remain in one condition, shape or form. It is there to grow and to light up with movement. Choose the places you visit wisely, encourage your body - your souls shell, to utilize the strength it has. Go to the darkest of the dark, the brightest of the bright. Move with serenity, breathe with gratitude, remember your time on earth is limited.

Tiny, Timid Way
The tiny, timid man
Does not rush to catch his train,
He does not swallow before he chews
Does not look for others to blame.
The tiny, timid man
Does not reach into his past
He does not grip onto the present
Does not force a moment to last
The tiny, timid man
Does not clutter his free mind
He will not listen to every noise
And will not look for wrinkles and lines
The tiny, timid man,
May go unnoticed throughout the day
But this tiny, timid man,
Has found the tiny, timid way.

Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody
"This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anyone could have."

Nudity

At a time like this, finding myself in a place I’ve never been before, I need to do something I’ve never done. As each thought and belief cross each other in my mind, both inspiring and intimidating, this one idea seems to sink to the core of it all – I want to sit in silence. Let it float. Sink into this very instant and break away from every moment that has carried me to this unusual point.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
When all is said and done, there are no mistakes to consider, and no lessons to take. All that remains is this sensation, in this very moment. This awakening of my nude mind, and fresh freedom to be filled. Filled with what? That is for me to decide – but that I will do, after my silence, after I am done relaxing.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.

The Agoraphobic
You have a garden in your backyard, yet you decide to stay inside. You live by the comforts of your own bubble, and although you crave exploration – you’ll never see the sights. You’ve stalled your growth in order to obey your fears.
Have your false impressions become your realities?
Burst your bubble.
Be alive in this world.
