"The two most important days in your life are: the day you were born, and the day when you find out why."

Purity

Awake by you, while you’re asleep
Within my mind, your word I keep
Against my back, I feel your beat
Inside my dreams, our hands, they meet

I’m weak with sin, pulled to desire
Little by little, you light our fire
Under your body, I lay there still
Your venom in me, I let it fill

My lips tremble, thigh to thigh
No turning back now, won’t even try
Emotions floating, a rush to the head
Remembering every promise, you once said

“Trust me”
“You won’t regret it”
“I will take care of you...”

Your body speaks truth, eyes tell lies
With every touch, my purity dies
A kiss on the forehead, I am your muse
And I am your drug, that I let you use

Created

Beautiful places and people do not just appear…

Beautiful places were once dark and damaged. They were once lifeless and trashed, and maybe they still are. Yet they have a story, they have a purpose. They’re a stranger to some, a discomfort to plenty, yet a home for many. Their beauty derives from harm and destruction. And somewhere, one finds their home and peace, whether it’d be by the graffiti on that brick wall, or the field of dandelions and cigarette butts. They have a memory, created out of a place, and that imprint is forever a source of comfort.

Beautiful people are created out of the recovery of suffering, and the lessons they allowed themselves to learn. They have pulled themselves out of the dark places their mind had no control over finding. They appreciate kindness, and have sensitivity to life and love. They allow themselves to make mistakes, for they know their strength is well trained. Those are the people that understand beauty, in nature, disaster, and simplicity. They see life for what it is, beyond the complications, broken promises and lost hopes.

Beautiful places and people do not just appear, they create themselves out of forgiveness, passion, strength and stories. And maybe one day, when all these people come to understand each other, we will stop tampering with our world and accept it as is – our home, our beautiful, imperfect home.

One who knows others is intelligent.
One who knows himself is enlightened.
One who conquers others is strong.
One who conquers himself is all-powerful.

Dancing Flower

Some flowers break in the wind, they can’t handle the pressure and feel insecure with their movement. They are embarrassed to sway in a certain direction and fear that they will fall over, which ultimately causes them to panic and lose momentum. Others, dance in the wind. They let the movement pass right through them and they prance around in delight. They find their friends and move together with the hidden guidance that the wind brings to them.

Do you break in the wind, or dance with it?

“There is not one big cosmic meaning for all, there is only the meaning we each give to our life, an individual meaning, an individual plot, like an individual novel, a book for each person.”

Risk

There are times when two lovers need to step away from each other. Create a little space, fill it with questions, doubt, pride, and temptation. And, if during the separation, one questions the others thoughts, doubts being able to live without them, remains proud of their love, and is tempted to return, they may rejoice with beauty and renewal. But if the other questions their independence, doubts that their relationship will ever be the same, takes pride in their silence, and is tempted to explore, they may not rejoice, at all.

But that’s the risk you need to be willing to take, for love.

Yes, you may have worked hard to get where you are - consider it a gift anyway. Because the second you feel entitled to something, it will lose it's purpose of happiness.
If your whole life up until now felt like preparation and planning, chances are, the rest of your entire life will feel the same. What'cha up to?

Be Alive

There is far too much real love in this world to pretend, and there are far too many good people in this world to defend - the bad ones. True passion is rare, protect it, don't neglect it, don't infect it and don't inspect it. There are only two things to trust, your intuition and your kindness, that's why you must, overcome the blindness. There is nothing more tender than the simplicity of living, we are given our gifts, but what have we been giving? Are we taking more than we deserve, using more than we preserve? Did we forget to say our daily grace, to say hello world, thank you for letting me face, another morning. Have we thanked the day for letting us see, another you and another me?

Mick and Bianca Jagger

Anything worth doing is worth overdoing!

They met side of stage, and tied the knot in St Tropez. Rock royalty – holding hands, leaning close – in broad-brimmed hats and three-piece suits, and in the Paris of ‘71 they had Jade Sheena Jezabel Jagger. They split in ‘78; later, he said “a good thing never ends”, she that her marriage ended her wedding day. “The past,” he said, “is a great place.”

Drive, He Said

My favourite movie of the year...

Ok – not only am I obsessed with Ryan Gosling, but his mysterious, dangerous and seductive acting in this movie is just incredible. The 80s theme of this film was captured perfectly (soundtrack, filming, timing and all). The whole idea about it is a mystery in itself, which makes it so much more suspenseful. He is a stunt driver, stuck in the violet ideas of his mind that the only way to deal with real life threat is to hammer nails to a head or drive dangerously – I mean, does it get any sexier and disturbing?

Master of Potential

"There is only one cause of unhappiness: the false beliefs you have in your head, beliefs so widespread, so commonly held, that it never occurs to you to question them." Until you finally do. And it hits you like a ton of bricks. It’s okay to misjudge a friend and feel fooled after. Learn to forgive yourself, appreciate yourself for coming to your senses, and most importantly – forgive them too. You can only go on so long coming up with excuses for someone else’s behavior, until it comes to a point where you’ve become too stubborn to admit your own poor judgment in someone. Or maybe it’s the false hope that there is a better person, deep down, stuck within them. Hidden behind their selfishness, pain and insecurity. You’re trying so hard to pull out a better version of them that you’re willing to feel their pain, convincing yourself that you’re meant to fix them. You forget who you are in the midst of protecting and nurturing another damaged person. You blame yourself for not being able to help them, and ultimately “cure” them. During this whole state of great disturbance and uncertainty (that we've caused all by ourselves), we lose touch with where true happiness lies. We're so driven by this project, and we are determined to see happiness there waiting for us when we finally "cure" this other person. When the reality of it is, there is no such thing as a finish line, there will be nothing waiting for us on this path. Nothing but destruction, disappointment and a big sign that you'll soon run into that looks something like DEAD END.

So, why do we do this?

Maybe it’s the satisfaction of possibly causing positive change, or the subconscious feeling of control. Maybe it’s the false love we feel when we’re busy betting on potential. Are we seeking to validate these people - or even seeking validation from them? Either way, it’s harming us more than anyone. Everyone else will be who they are, with or without you and every lesson you claim to bring along. Everyone has their own schedule, their own destiny. As do we. We are constantly looking outwards, trying to help heal the world and change the people in it. When will we learn to look within ourselves, and believe in our own ability? Before you try and make anyone else’s world a better place, you need to surf your inner waves, and master your own potential. Take care of your senses, and watch how everything else will take care of itself.

Let it go. Your wings are only strong enough to carry yourself. So look for the people who can fly beside you, not beneath you.
